1. Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme

An up-graded version of Assam’s flagship Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) programme-Orunodoi 3.0 now encompasses about 37 lakh economically weak ladies (from 17 lakh) Each beneficiary is given a monthly stipend of ₹1250 to help with monthly households expenses.

2. Chief Minister’s Shishu Seva Scheme

This program supports children bereaved of their parents due to Covid-19 by:

  • A fixed deposit of ₹7.81 lakh in the child’s name.
  • Monthly financial help of ₹3,500 until the child attains 24, which after this principal portion is given.

3. Kushal Konwar Briddha Pension Scheme

Suitable Senior Residents (60 + years) receive monthly pension for their livelihood, as a way to maintain their financial stability in their old age.

4. Lakhpati Baideo Scheme

This program enables women entrepreneurs connected to Self Help Group (SHG) by extending financial support for starting their own business or expanding the existing one. 40 lakh women across the state will be benefited by the scheme.
