First Installment Released
Initiated on October 2025, the initiative was launched at the Veterinary College Ground in Khanapara, Guwahati on the occasion of 24,000 plus girl students. The chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma emphasized the pivotal ability of the initiative to develop girl’s education and financial independence. Eligible students have their stipends paid directly into their bank accounts on the 11th of every month except breaks.
